The Day It Came to Earth review

Corny, but harmless. The film stars a young (and cute) Rita Wilson and an old George Gobel. This film is a little reminiscent of The Blob, in that it involves a bunch of teens witnessing a meteor arrive from space carrying a malevolent creature. The teens spend much of the rest of the film trying to get the adult authority figures to believe them. It doesn't have the cinematography of The Blob, but the acting is about on par. There are several scenes with Rita Wilson and co-star Delight De Bruine (Sally), where they giggle and cut up together, that look highly improvised and genuinely fun. For a B movie, I'd recommend watching it.
